Physical examination and Insurance

The foreign students who will study over half a year should submit standard health examination forms (available at the embassy or the consulate). Health quarantine work will be conducted after registration, standard health examination forms, including the medical report, the original X-ray pictures etc, are to be checked by appointed agency (the fee is covered by students themselves), or organize the ones not up to the standard to make physical examination at the appointed agency(the fee is covered by students themselves).

If the applicants have been insured themselves, the presentation of the original documents is required upon registration. If not, when registration, Accident Insurance and Hospitalization Insurance are required to be bought and the insurance fee will be self-supported.

Accommodation

Purui Building in BCPL is served for international students. The one who doesn’t plan to live in or who wants to move off the building should apply for in advance, written application and temporary lodging registration forms for living outside are needed.

Purui Building is a specialized hospitality operation dedicated to short and long- term international students, or college visitors as the conditions permit. At present, Purui Building owns economical room, standard room, business room 85 rooms(sets),with 164 beds （sets）,equipped with public laundry rooms, service room, business facilities etc. All rooms in design and decoration are close to 3-star hotel, with independent bathroom, sitting room and air conditioning, TV, telephone, broadband access etc. The price of standard room for foreign students is 100 Yuan per day (50 Yuan /bed/day),room rate can be favorable properly for medium and long- term students.

Diet

A large comprehensive student cafeteria in BCPL can satisfy nations and specified needs. The expenses on food are about 8-15 RMB per day, paid by campus IC card.

Others

All types of restaurants, specialized and general hospitals, fitness centers near the college can meet the needs for dining, medical treatment and fitness. It has pleasant environment with a mini-supermarket on the campus, some chain supermarkets, banks, entertainment, shopping malls are convenient nearby. The college is located in the due east of Beijing, southeast of the capital airport, paralleled to and in the middle of Chaoyang Road and Chaoyangbei Road of Chang’an Street. From Capital International Airport to the college, foreign students can reach Yangzha Station by airport bus or Guanzhuang Station by subway, then get to the college on foot. If by taxi, it takes half an hour in general. It is accessible to scenic spots around and within Beijing.

Route

Beijing Capital International Airport: take airport bus to Hujialou Station, transfer to Bus Rapid Transit No. 2 to Yangzha roundabout and then walk 700 meters along the north side of Yangzha roundabout .

Beijing Capital International Airport or in downtown: take subway, transfer to Batong Line to the Guanzhuang Station, exit through the north gate and then walk 900 meters northward by the way of the Yangzha Roundabout.

Beijing Capital International Airport or in downtown: take taxi through Jingtong

expressway to the Hui village, exit from Shuangqiao East and turn left, drive 700

meters northward by the way of the Yangzha Roundabout.
